After Team Phobic shut down in 2014, many of the team members joined Backflip Studios where we went on to develop DragonVale World.

It was an ambitious project, featuring a larger team and a set in the future of the DragonVale universe. Players returned to the planet below the floating islands, expanding the game's lore and bringing the environment to 3D.

As Game Director, I pitched the idea, directed a larger development team, and coordinated with Hasbro to maintain the game and brand’s vision.

At the time, DragonVale was beginning to decline in the store, but over the development period of DragonVale World, the team updating DragonVale had found a resurgence in it’s success.

It was an incredible experience to work with such a talented team and I’m very grateful for getting the opportunity to learn and work with the Backflip team and Hasbro.
